A native of South Florida, Kristen is proud to serve as an elementary media specialist in Broward County.  She has been writing since her early childhood and hopes to create original literary work which will inspire others to build a better future while learning from the past.  Her main artistic focus is on historical fiction and social commentaries, observing that students are agents of change who can learn much about the world through media while being entertained by the art form itself.
